Luke Tankersley

Luke Tankersley is a rising second-year student at the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. He wants to work in public defense and serve individuals who need help navigating the complexities of the criminal justice system. Luke chose to work at the Law Office of the Shelby County Public Defender this summer because we offer the most complete and hands-on experience for aspiring indigent defense attorneys. He looks forward to contributing meaningfully to the office and continuing to grow as an advocate.
