Madeline Enlow

Assistant Public Defender

After graduating from Pepperdine Law in Malibu, California, Madeline was eager to return to the South and begin her legal career as an Assistant Public Defender in the office that sparked her passion for criminal defense.  Madeline interned at the Law Office of the Shelby County Public Defender as a law student in the summers of 2023 and 2024.  Her experiences then shaped who she is today, and Madeline is excited to be a resource and mentor to incoming interns that may be experiencing this work for the first time, just as she was years ago.  Although Madeline is a Memphis transplant, the city quickly felt like home.  In her free time, Madeline enjoys trying local coffee spots, watching reality television, and playing with her puppy, Vinny.
