Michal Becker is a rising third-year student at Boston University School of Law. She holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and is interested in how legal institutions influence access to resources, opportunity, and equitable outcomes. She chose to spend her summer at the Shelby County Public Defender’s Office because of its strong commitment to expanding access to justice and providing high‑quality representation. In her free time, Michal enjoys painting and running.
