Oceana Gilliam

Oceana R. Gilliam is a rising second-year student at the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law. She is excited to serve at the Law Office of the Shelby County Public Defender because she is passionate about public service and is eager to learn how to become a better legal advocate. When not in the law library, Oceana likes roller skating, listening to Motown classics, and walking her two dogs. Through her work, Oceana strives to honor her mother, family, community, and ancestors.
